These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of LightNote AI (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • upload content you do not have the right to use;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
  • abuse AI features to generate unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content.

Your content

You retain ownership of the proposals and other content you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and display that content to operate the Service for you, including sending it to our AI provider to produce your results.

AI-generated output

The Service uses AI to generate and evaluate proposals. Output may contain errors and is provided for your review. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content before you send it to a client. Audit scores are guidance, not a guarantee of results.

Credits and payment

Certain features consume credits. Any pricing and credit terms shown in the app apply at the time of use. Where features are offered free during a beta period, we may change or end that offer with notice.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LightNote is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
