The SuperDoc Block System

Unlike traditional text documents, LightNote AI proposals are composed of modular content blocks. Each block can be independently restyled, reordered via drag-and-drop, and enriched by the AI engine.

Hero Block
Proposal title, client company, primary metadata, logo banner, and submission dates.
Rich Text Block
Formatted markdown text, executive summaries, scope narrative, and numbered objectives.
Pricing Table Block
Tiered package comparisons, payment schedules, hourly vs. fixed cost tables.
Milestones / Data Table
Sprint deliveries, timelines, client review gates, and resource allocation grids.
Quote & Proof Block
Client testimonials, case study statistics, and executive signatures.
Media & Asset Block
High-resolution architectural diagrams, UI mockups, and client logos.

Dynamic Template Variables

When creating a template, insert curly brace variables. When generating a proposal, LightNote AI automatically injects the client information:

// Available Template Variables
{{clientName}} : Client contact full name
{{clientCompany}} : Client organization / business name
{{industry}} : Client vertical (SaaS, Healthcare, etc.)
{{budget}} : Target investment range
{{timeline}} : Project duration / target delivery
{{preparedBy}} : Your author or account executive name
{{companyName}} : Your agency or firm name
AI Context Merging: When you run AI generation with a template selected, Gemini extracts these variables and automatically tailors every section to match the specific company and industry tone.

3 Steps to Save Your First Template

1

Start from Scratch or Modify a Preset

Navigate to Templates in your dashboard. You can select one of our default templates (Business, Consulting, or Project) or click "Create Blank Template".

2

Customize Sections & Brand Colors

Use the left sidebar to add section blocks (Deliverables, Pricing, Timeline). Open the styling panel to set your brand primary color, typography, and logo.

3

Save to Cloud & Use in Proposal Studio

Click "Save Template". Your template is stored securely in Supabase and will immediately appear in the template dropdown whenever you create a new proposal.
